A small park, with gorgeous fields of green grass and a nice little playground.

It is well maintained but there are no facilities.

This one scored huge, HUGE on the kids scale of FUN! A huge, wooden labyrinth of bridges, stairs, tunnels, slides, so many structures. Monkey bars, swings, balance beams, climbing nets, zip line, tire swing, you name – they have it! There is a lake with paddle boat rentals, tennis courts, a second playground and a spray-ground.

City Park is located next to the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science.
There are over 330 acres to enjoy at this park. The wood playground is the best!

The huge negatives: No flushing bathrooms, no drinking fountains.

Looking for a fun filled with rides, picnics and yummy treats? Head to Lakeside Amusement Park located at I-70 and Sheridan. Admission is unbelievably cheap! You can bring your own picnic in and the lines are short! It’s like turning back time too, a blast and tons of eye candy for any nostalgic person!
They have plenty of picnic tables and pavilions, it’s a great place for a birthday party. It’s right next to a lake too, gorgeous views with the Rockies as the backdrop.

Parking is FREE too!
Highly Recommend.
Stopping to smell the roses, is not just a cliche. It is a perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. Recently, we headed to Hudson Gardens in Littleton for a treat in the Rose Garden.

Hudson Gardens is located at 6115 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton 80120

Leawood Park in Littleton is a kid favorite! To adults this park may seem small compared to nearby Clement Park but do not be fooled, children love it!
It has several play structures, slides, swings, and ride-ons. There is also a nice, long sidewalk for kids to ride their bikes and trikes. One thing adults will appreciate is the huge shade trees, the picnic area and a wooden bench to sit and read. Plenty of grassy areas to have a picnic too. There is one play structure for bigger kids (5-10) and one for little ones (2-4, or younger with close supervision). Located directly east of Columbine HIgh School and Clement Park it is easily accessible and usually less crowded than Clement.
