A small park, with gorgeous fields of green grass and a nice little playground.

It is well maintained but there are no facilities.

This one scored huge, HUGE on the kids scale of FUN! A huge, wooden labyrinth of bridges, stairs, tunnels, slides, so many structures. Monkey bars, swings, balance beams, climbing nets, zip line, tire swing, you name – they have it! There is a lake with paddle boat rentals, tennis courts, a second playground and a spray-ground.

City Park is located next to the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science.
There are over 330 acres to enjoy at this park. The wood playground is the best!

The huge negatives: No flushing bathrooms, no drinking fountains.

Beautiful Dillon, Colorado, we love this town!

By far one of the coolest playgrounds in Colorado. The equipment is diverse and extensive, it is fantastic.

But the best thing about this playground:

They have positioned the park and the picnic tables to take advantage of this amazing view. LOVE IT!

We highly recommend Marina Park. Pack a picnic and head west on I-70 just about an hour from Denver. You can also rent boats at the marina, eat at some of the breweries and also go shopping at the outlets in Silverthorne.

Stopping to smell the roses, is not just a cliche. It is a perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. Recently, we headed to Hudson Gardens in Littleton for a treat in the Rose Garden.

Hudson Gardens is located at 6115 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton 80120
