In April 2010, Denver joined other major cities and introduced B-cycle. According to their website, B-cycle is a next-gen bike-sharing system. In layman’s terms: B-cycles are magic bikes that are there when you want one and gone when you don’t. Just swipe your card, grab a bike, and get to where you’re going.
There are tons of self-service stations located around Denver and Boulder. You can purchase a membership by day, week, month or year. For the month of October B-cycle is offering $10 off the Annual Membership plus you get a free bike helmet, can’t beat that! The Annual Membership Fee is $65 ($45 for students and seniors), not bad at all!
This would be the perfect family activity for families with older children. I was also thinking of having a date night with my husband and doing a progressive dinner around Denver.
